Witchcraft Journal is operated from Australia. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the site or contact us.
Information you provide
Our contact form asks for your email address and message. Providing a name is optional.
We use this information to respond to questions, investigate corrections and manage enquiries. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter, and your message is not published as a blog comment.
Please do not include sensitive personal information or information about other people that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Where blog comments are enabled, your comment and displayed profile information may be visible to other readers.
Blogger, Google and cookies
This website is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Google may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, page requests and cookies when providing its services. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Blogger also provides built-in visitor statistics, separate from Google Analytics, which help us understand readership. See Blogger’s explanation of its statistics.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some features, including sign-in and comments. Cookie information supplied by Blogger is described in Blogger’s cookie notice guidance.
Contact-form processing
Our contact form uses Formspree. Form submissions are processed and stored by Formspree and delivered to the Gmail inbox used to manage this website.
Formspree may also process technical information for service operation, security and spam prevention. Its handling of information is explained in Formspree’s Privacy Policy.
Sharing and overseas processing
Information is handled by the providers needed to host the site, process contact forms and deliver email. We do not sell contact-form information or use it to send unsolicited marketing.
Google and Formspree may process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Their policies explain their international processing arrangements.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
Storage and retention
Our policy is to restrict access to enquiries to those who need it to manage the website, and to retain them only while needed for replies, follow-up, resolving disputes or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Copies we control should be deleted when no longer needed.
Messages can exist in both Formspree and our Gmail inbox. Removing a submission from Formspree does not automatically delete its email copy. Service providers have their own retention and backup arrangements.
No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Questions, requests and complaints
Use the Contact page to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry, but do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.
We may need to verify that a request relates to you. Requests will be considered in light of applicable obligations and any legitimate need to retain records.

Analytics, advertising and changes
Google Analytics and Google AdSense have not been enabled on this website as of the date above.
We will update this policy and review the relevant privacy and consent settings before introducing analytics, advertising or other services that change how information is handled.
